At the Riverdale Farm – Horses and Donkey

Well, here they are! These are “Dusty” the charming “star’ donkey and the two Claydesdale horses called “Rooster” and “Dolly”. “Dusty” stole the show as he made himself available to everyone! I have never seen a donkey so charming! He really seems to love people’s attention. You can read more about the animals at the farm right here.

Donkeys are so funny. My great-uncle had one when we were kids, and it always made us laugh.
I think Adam Lambert rocks, too. He is an amazing talent. I wish you all could vote, too.
I have a fondness for any animals, but horses and donkeys are so special! Dusty sure is a cutie. Thanks for sharing…

Loved the donkeys. My grandfather actually had a dozen or so …they were so friendly and would butt their cute heads on our backs because they wanted us to rub their noses. I can remember the names of two of them….Flora and Chicle (gum in Spanish). Chicle would follow my grandpa everywhere! Wonderful photos.

Wonderful Cydesdales! When the Budweiser Clydesdale Team was here, I took the opportunity to paint them from life for 5 days. They were amazing, made my Percheron look like a TB!
