Blogging And Friendship…well connected…
Today I am posting about Blogging and Friendship, two things very well connected. I guess we all blog for different reasons but the main reason is to connect with others in the world who might share similar ideas. It’s all about discovery, meeting and visiting. It is said that blogging and social-media has taken away the “human contact” from all of us. But I think differently to this…Blogging has opened the door to connections through the distance not possible before without technology with those who live far despite locations and time. Blogs are available 24/7 and can be visited anytime. For me is like walking through a huge garden and discovering new flowers as I am passing by…and one leads to another.
We travel visually in cyberspace enjoying the art and writing of others and it’s always a new experience. Blogging is hard work if you do it for business only, I agree. But if you also do it to connect and share with others bits of your life is also fun. Writing a post might be intimidating for beginners or rather discouraging when we lack of inspiration. But there is always something to say to others out there who come to visit us day after day…We all have something to offer. I love posting crafts, tutorials, blog classes, photos of my trips, homemade cooking recipes…Fun!
Blogging has changed the world and the way we communicate, we might be writing less “pen and paper” letters and more emails, comments… but we are indeed mailing more gifts to blogger friends. I am sure many of you have received a surprise in the mail from a favorite blogger. Isn’t that wonderful? Bloggers turn into blogger friends and it just happens so easy. How many friends have you made? If you are a serious blogger you should realized that writing a post you could be “lightening up” a person’s day without even trying. People come to read about you, about your life and what you are up to.
Next time you feel “oh, I don’t have nothing to blog about today”…think again! And if you want to start blogging but lack of inspiration check this out here.
Happy Blogging!

Blogging is indeed a WONDERFUL way for us to connect with others that “Get Me”. I have many friends but, so many of them think the things I do or are interested in are a bit strange. They just don’t get it. But, in bloggland… you find people that have simliar interests & such wonderful friendships do fill your life (& sometimes your mailbox). Thank you for all you share with us. I love your blog.
And sometimes, it’s nice to see how completely different some is
Like you said, this venue has made possible for connection, especially for me who is halfway across the globe from you LoL And yet here I am, able to share my thoughts with you. Now that is a blessing indeed.
I feel like I have another world to live by. A very, very beautiful one. I enjoy reading posts, stories of one’s adventure. And they do make me smile – sometimes laugh! I also like reading things shared (like food, best place they’ve been, the best bargain,
). It’s as if you are talking to you friends in the real world. Though there are times where sad stories are told. It’s weird cause no matter how one feel like a stranger, there is that little “tug” in your heart.
Gabriella you are so right.
Friendship and blogging seem to go hand in hand.

Wonderful post! I have met so many wonderful people blogging – but the best part is I have ACTUALLY MET in person 7 bloggers! That was so much fun!
Your article in Artful Blogging Magazine was beautiful and so professional. I love Artful Blogging magazine and blogging of course.
To be blogging gives me an opportunity to express myself with art, photography and music. I love all the friends that I have met over the last two years. I so enjoy the connections, especially the opportunity to get to know you Gabriela.

Hi Gabriella
I love this post. Blogging has changed my world. I don’t know what I’d do without it. I’ve met some of the most gracious & creative people, including yourself
I wanted to say hello & stop by. I’ve been consumed with our move this summer & my laptop is still being repaired. I’m going on almost 3 weeks & I don’t know how much more I can take. I hope to be visiting again on a regular basis.
Take Care
Nerissa

Hi Gabriela,
You have said this so well. I have met people with common interests through blogging who have challenged and inspired me. It’s a wonderful way to connect with people – like you!

Hello everyone,
Thanks so much for your very kind comments. They mean so much to me.
Connections are very important in life and blogging has opened the door to them!
Friendships are the very best part of them.
Let’s celebrate Blogging my friends! So glad I found you.

Gabriela, you perfectly captured the way I feel about blogging, too.
I have met so many wonderful people, and I have learned something from each one. Just look what a lovely friend I have found in you.
Hello Gabriela, Congrats on being on artfull blogging!!! I am going to look for that one over here!
Yes you are right. Blogging is not unpersonal, but somehow people who don’t blog simply don’t understand that or things like swapping: do you send this to a complete stranger? You are right blogging has enriched my life. Thanks!
Hi Gabriela,
You articulated my own thoughts on blogging so well here. Since the Mad Tea Party at Vanessa’s a couple of weeks ago, I’ve been thinking about this subject a lot. It was exactly a year ago, at the FIRST Mad Tea Party, that I dove into Blogland full-force.
I made so many friends, a few of them GREAT friends, that I feel my life is enriched by the experience.
Thanks for being a part of that.
Kate
