A Sparkly Apron for a Great Cook…
As I promised on an earlier post, I will be sharing with you some of the projects I have been working on for the Holiday season. This is a gift for a dear friend…and I really hope she is not reading my blog today!
She is a great cook and because she loves her aprons so much I decided to personalize one for her. While visiting some shops here in the city I spotted this “fern” apron and remember that she has lots of them at home! It was perfect for her! I just added some fabric glitter and paint to it. How fun! Make one with me!
MATERIALS:
Tulip® Fashion Form™
Tulip® Soft Fabric Paint™ - Pearl Shamrock Green 1OZ
Tulip® Fashion Glitter™ - Primary 6PK
Aleene’s® Fabric Fusion™ Permanent Dry Cleanable Fabric Adhesive™
INSTRUCTIONS:
1- Wash your apron but do not use softener.
2- Choose the prints you are going to enhance with glitter and paint.
3- Working in sections at a time add Aleene’s® Fabric Fusion™ Permanent Dry Cleanable Fabric Adhesive™ to ferns and sprinkle Tulip® Fashion Glitter™ glitter right onto it. I used gold and green glitter.
4- Let dry completely.
5- Paint will be dried after only four hours!
Your apron will be ready for gift giving. Wrap it beautifully!
DISCLOSURE: I have a material connection with ILoveToCreate because I received a cash payment, gift or other thing of value or product that are mentioned herein.
